The Faculty of Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń invites you to the International Conference “Towards a Biblical Thomism. Thomas Aquinas and the Renewal of Biblical Theology”, co-organized by the Thomistic Institute.
The aim of the conference is to shed some light on Aquinas’ Biblical exegesis and on the way speculative theology and exegesis permeate in his thought.
Keynote speakers include Michael Scherwin (University of Fribourg, Switzerland), Matthew Levering (Mundelein Seminary, United States), Enrique Alarcon (University of Pamplona, Spain), Giuseppe De Virgilio (Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Italy), Stefano Zamboni SCJ (Alphonsianum, Italy), Paweł Krupa OP (Thomistic Institute, Poland) and Michele Mazzeo OFM (Antonianum, Rome).
Paper proposals – preferably in English – should be submitted as an abstract (app. 300 words) by January 31st 2017 to [email protected].
